Babaji and Munirajji
Babaji and Munirajji
Divine meeting
AT THE KATHGHARIA ASHRAM
One of those who came to see Babaji at that time was Shri Trilok Singh, the Haldwani grain dealer. As a young businessman, in 1960, Trilok Singh had been in a hospital, waiting for a thyroid operation. The night before the operation, ‘Old Haidakhan Baba’ had appeared to him, put something medicinal in his mouth, and left without saying a word. Through the years, Trilok Singh was a man who honoured and worshipped God both in his home and in his business. By 1971, he was a trustee of several temple trusts and the head of a society which looked after the property of his former (deceased) guru. Trilok Singh had heard of Shri Babaji’s return to Haidakhan, but had not gone there. When Shri Babaji came out of Haidakhan Valley to go to Vrindavan, Trilok Singh had gone to the railway station to catch a glimpse of Him, but he arrived after the train had left.

When he arrived at the Kathgharia Ashram, there were many people waiting to see Babaji - so many that Babaji sat in a room with two doors and had people enter by one door, make their pranam and go out by the other door. Trilok Singh got in the line, made his pranam, and got up to leave; but Babaji made a silent hand signal for Trilok Singh to sit by His feet, so he remained there in the room at Babaji’s feet. For twelve and half years thereafter - often in Haidakhan, which he visited frequently, and almost always when Shri Babaji travelled Trilok Singh was at or near Shri Babaji’s feet, always serving Him.
