Sri Munirajji: "I am nothing."
Shri Muniraji:
“LET THE EGO BURN away & realise that it is God who acts.
We need to realise in the depth of our hearts, that it is not us who
act, but that it is God, who acts through us. The root of Karma is
the Ego. Humanity is lost in Ego and identifies with it’s action. This
Ego is the main reason for their imprisonment. Even a Yogi may
think that he has surrendered, but in the end he builds an ashram,
finds himself students, and other services. Where is the
renouncement? Saints often renounce life, only to maintain it. In the
eyes of God those are no Saints. The greatest sacrifice can be made
by a family person, as it is much harder living in a family than in the
forest. Family people share, whatever they earn with their children,
which is a good remedy against selfishness. It is difficult to find the
right understanding about renunciation.”
The activity of the mind is a part of Karma Yoga. In the Bhagavad
Gita you can find inexhaustible explanations about the meaning of
Karma Yoga.”
“The "I" does not exist. I am nothing: God is the acting power. It is
like in a power station. There are many light bulbs, but God is the
power that lights up the bulbs. This power allows different things to
take shape in different places. But the power that generates the
action, is always the same. As long as someone thinks they are the
acting power, there is a problem. Not even a leaf drops of a tree
without God wanting this. However, God has not created people to
be puppets. Man has the free will to develop towards the Divine or
not.”
