One day in the beginning Raghuvir talked with Kishan and said, Yes Guruji told me that you arrived and brought somebody with you. I said, I am somebody and this I liked really much. Always I was playing with my name and was joking about "I Am Christoph" and now "this Guru" called me somebody.
One of my first jobs in Chilianaula was to clean. The toilets were blocked and I got it repaired. The shit could not go away and I made it going away again. "This Guru" was walking around there and I heared Him saying, that "some-body" is repairing ...
To bow down to a human being was not "nice" for me. This was not in my thinking, may be it's proudness, but it also a question of the culture. To touch somedy's feet is in India a normal way of saying hello or good-bye. In our culture we have different forms of salutation, of bowing down. But to go in the temple and bow down to "ThisGuru" ...
I didn't like this, this all, this show of holy playing and acting, totally unknown and for me a big story combining in the fear of "being at the wrong place".
On the 7. november 1989 we were dancing at the Gautama Ganga. Hargovind told us that the German border, the high dangerous wall has broken down last night, the east was open. An unhuman system of pressure and totalitary aspects had died ... The city cutted in two parts was on the way to get one again.
On the 16. of november I went back to Germany, to Berlin, the town where I liked to live so much. Berlin was a different town, nothing was like before ... in the air the smell or revolution. It was a time of anarchy in the eat part. Bars and clubs came out like the gras after the rain, underground culture again in this town.
My Berlin time was during the 80ies, a time when people who didn't want to go to the army only had to be registered there and there were free, the town where was not thr rule to close pubs or discos at a fixed time, Berlin was under the law ot the allied countries and not "the real Germany". Special tax safemodels let houses with flats stay empty and we broke in and changed a full thinking.
Funny is after so many years ... The political escalation with the punks and the other who took empty houses the government solved very tricky, they gave us long time contracts for cheap conditions and the new "legalized" inhabitants went to Ikea to buy the new kitchen and didn't go anymore on the street. The movement was bought. Today these streets are still full with those people. Ex students now good earning engineers or other jobs changes the area, the Kiez and the pubs close during the week at 1 and the people can go to work next day, during weekend there is on sturday the organic food market where they meet with children and the pubs are open longer ...
On the way home to Germany I stayed in Delhi for few days and I went around for shopping. Passing by a very small shop I saw in the end of this shop something shining. I went in and found a silver jacket, full of pailetten and shining like crazy. I bought this and a time of craziest styling entered my life. And later in Berlin I even went around with a short lady mini shirt, net leggins and doc martin shoes. Discovering and expressing the Lady in me was on the list.
Happy to be away from this "spiritual group" and their rituals, smelling the prana of revolution and looking around to all these new pictures, visiting the ex-east part, Babaji "took me", I falled in Love with This Guru Of The Gurus, the messenger of revolution.
Later I colored my hair with chemical colors in the famous "punk red" and went to the German Ashram of Babaji, because there was a Mela, a holy festival including the visit of The Guru. I came there and one man came to me and was happy to "such a punk" there between all the Shiva devotees. He himself came from Berlin and lived in this small village in a beautiful area.
The festival happened in a tent and there also this Aarti was together with hundreds of people. To bow down in fornt of This Guru was not my favourite, but I did it like everybody else. The speech of This Guru was soft and He said: " We will see us in Navratri times in India". I was happy to know that it will happen, because I wanted to visit India again. Full of love for Babaji.
India is still my favourite country in the world, God is here at every corner and very muchi n the consciousness and the daily rhythm of the people and their life. Meanwhile I live in India and still this country is an adventurous playing ground for punks.
An incredible Leela gave me the money to fly again to India in the beginning of autumn and from the Delhi airport I took a taxi to be in the right time at this Ashram in the mountains where this Navratri, this holy festival was celebrated again. The taxi arrived there in the darkness and to find this place was not so easy for a Delhi taximan and also not for me, but we founded it and again they put me in the shop, the same room like one year before (today office of planetbabaji).
The next morning I woke up too late and when coming back from lunch I passed the house of "The Guru" and there was no way around to meet Him. I moved my head in His direction and salutated only with moving, he did the same ...
